I am thrilled to tell you that in April 2024 I will be the art director/creative coach

for an “Inspirational Art & Culture Tour to Beautiful Italia!” offered by The Angel Connection (clearly!)

through the established pilgrimage tour company- 206 Tours.

There is no place like Italy!!!! Whether a potted lemon tree, a hillside vineyard, or folks sitting

at a cafe table- wherever you look, you’ll see something beautiful to enjoy (and sketch, and paint,

and photograph, and write about!). It is my joy and honor be a part of such a glorious trip, to a place that

has inspired me and my artwork for as long as I can remember. I caught my artist parents’ infectious love

for bella Italia when they took me there when I was a little girl, and it continued to grow when I was older

and visited them at their retirement home in Florence.

I’m eager to share my appreciation for Italy, and what I’ve learned over 40 years of working as a professional

artist, and art instructor which may be of help to you. Please know ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME,

and you will be free to work at your own pace. During our time together, I suggest you work from the comfort

and privacy of a sketchbook, which is a great housing for easily capturing scenes and subjects that call to us

while on the move. More specific suggestions on materials to come. In discussions and short demonstrations,

I’ll help you see and record your own experiences using a variety of simple materials and age-old techniques.

And, at the end of the trip, you’ll have a precious memento- your own sketchbook- to remind you of your time

in Italy for many years to come. I hope you will join me on this beautiful trip!
